The majority of my workdays are spent preparing camera-ready art for advertisements and point of sale items.
In most cases I receive an Art Director's low resolution comp to work from. I then rebuild the piece paying close attention to every detail, ensuring that the final print matches the Art Directors intended vision. Many projects involve a great deal of photo manipulation, retouching and color correction at this stage. Once the main visual is complete I will apply that look to several different, and sometimes very complicated, dielines.
The ability to carry over the original look and feel of any design to a variety of formats allows an Art Director to concentrate on the chief concept of each campaign without focusing on technicalities. This is one of my best assets.
Below are a few of the projects I have recently worked on.
